Independent Creative Work
Client work, Arts Events, Performances
In 2022-23 I have provided advice and expertise on Social Media strategy & online engagement for small businesses and creative individuals. I've conducted Social Media workshops, designed websites and branding packages, provided technical support for online webshops, and participated in art exhibitions, performances, and events in the independent arts community.
Achievements:
Successfully facilitated, organised, exhibited, hosted, and performed at a 1-day community-organised arts event bringing together dozens of visual artists, performers, and musicians. We raised over $1500 for independent artists and entertained a crowd of 500+ people.
Created a Social Media workshop for middle-aged small business owners that could see them take ownership and authenticity over their online brand using simple methods.

Public Relations Coordinator (Freelance)
St Patrick’s Community Support Centre
Assisting during a busy period for the local housing provider, I managed the company’s social media posts and provided them with some media outreach via newspapers and local radio stations, sharing stories from the wider community to bring appeal to the organisation’s mission: ending chronic homelessness.
Achievements
Coordinated publicity & media for the Annual Fremantle Long Table Dinner and their supporting sponsors, raising $500,000 towards ending chronic homelessness.
Organised and publicised an online charity auction building up to the event, which improved upon participation numbers and funds raised from the previous year.

Internship
Media on Mars
Having started this internship with the desire to expand my graphic design skills, the team immediately took to my talents and set me to work as a media & publicity coordinator for a handful of their non-profit clients. This work was a foundational step in me gaining my confidence as it saw me take responsibility of my skills and independently put them to use.
Achievements
Conducted a successful media campaign for Home Hub’s “Housing the Community” event in response to the ongoing housing crisis, which attained coverage from two radio stations and two community newspapers and culminated to a successful event, bringing over 20 community organisations together to connect people with housing services.
Coordinated external communications for the annual Accessibility Awards ceremony by the Centre for Accessibility, which paid tribute to organisations and individuals throughout Australia and the world that had high standards of web accessibility. The awards ceremony was attended by a total of 72 organisations and was hailed as the biggest event the CFA has hosed to date.

Media Coordinator/Design Lead
BRINK: Fossil Free Arts Festival
I volunteered for a community-funded project to organise an arts festival to bring awareness to fossil fuel sponsorship in the arts sector. As Media Coordinator and Design Lead for the festival, I created a brand identity, a style guide, coordinated web and social media strategy, and liaised with volunteers and industry professionals to ensure project outcomes were met.
Achievements:
Managed complex time schedules across a team of volunteers to host 14 events and performances across Fremantle and surrounds.
The event contributed to a wider public appeal which resulted in Perth FRINGE festival organisers ARTRAGE ending their partnership with Woodside Petroleum; a watershed moment which resulted in many other organisations following suit.
